Basketball Recap: Norco Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Caden Lester and Ryan Ibbetson

Norco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 69-62 to the Bosco Tech Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-67 back in November of 2024.

Ryan Ibbetson and Caden Lester certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Ibbetson went 6 of 12 en route to 18 points, while Lester went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points. That's the most points Lester has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Julian Arredondo, who posted eight points.

Norco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bosco Tech, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Norco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-42 win against Riverside Prep on the 28th. As for Bosco Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-43 victory against Redlands East Valley on the 28th.
