Pope John Paul II extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 12-2 in the process. They skirted past the Pottsgrove Falcons 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Pope John Paul II has posted against Pottsgrove since May 13, 2021.

The team relied heavily on Braylen Kupp, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

As for Pottsgrove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.
