Basketball Recap: Marple Newtown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Strath Haven last Friday, Marple Newtown came back down to earth. The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers lost to the Upper Moreland Bears on the road by a 67-49 margin on Wednesday.

Marple Newtown's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Upper Moreland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Marple Newtown nor Upper Moreland have any future games scheduled.
