Softball Recap: Brooklyn Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bedford last Monday, Brooklyn came back down to earth. The Hurricanes lost 20-5 to the Lutheran West Longhorns on Wednesday. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Brooklyn now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lutheran West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooklyn will venture away from home to challenge Euclid at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lutheran West, they will head out to take on Cuyahoga Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
