Boswell had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Saginaw Rough Riders as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Boswell pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Saginaw, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-1.

Looking ahead, Boswell will take on Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saginaw, they will be playing at home against Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brewer's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Saginaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
