Softball Game Preview: Franklin Gldn Tornadoes vs. Nute Rams

Franklin is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Nute a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Franklin Gldn Tornadoes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nute Rams at 4:00 p.m. Nute took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin, who comes in off a win.

Franklin will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Sunapee on Wednesday. The Gldn Tornadoes were the clear victors by a 17-8 margin over the Lakers. Considering the Gldn Tornadoes have won six games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Nute fell victim to Newmarket and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 19-0 to the Mules.

Nute's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
