Soccer Recap: Payson Takes a Loss

Payson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Payson it sure didn't stay that way.

Payson's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Maple Mountain, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Payson has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Spanish Fork on the 2nd. As for Maple Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wasatch on the 2nd.
