Softball Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Watertown managed to slip by General Brown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cyclones lost 30-0 to the Lions on Wednesday. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for General Brown, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watertown will host Carthage at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for General Brown, they will take on Thousand Islands at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
