Basketball Recap: Northside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on American Leadership Academy on Saturday. The Crusaders were dealt a 78-22 defeat at the hands of the Patriots. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brice Newton was a one-man wrecking crew For American Leadership Academy. as he posted 12 points and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Justin Richburg, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 12 points.

Northside Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for American Leadership Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Northside Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Spartanburg Day at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for American Leadership Academy, they will take on Ben Lippen in a tournament on Monday.
