Volleyball Game Preview: Carter Lions vs. Colton Yellowjackets

The Carter Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Colton Yellowjackets at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Carter will be strutting in after a win while Colton will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Carter turned things around against Bloomington on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bruins by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Bloomington scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Colton lost 3-0 to Arroyo Valley on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.

Carter picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-11. As for Colton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Carter skirted past Colton 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
