Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lee's offense. They lost 21-0 to the Hazel Green Trojans on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hazel Green, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-11-1.

Looking ahead, Lee will look to defend their home field on Monday against Mae Jemison at 4:30 p.m. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.79 runs per game on average), something the Generals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hazel Green, they will head out to take on Huntsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
