Volleyball Game Preview: Lourdes Academy vs. Ransom Everglades Raiders

Lourdes Academy will challenge the Ransom Everglades Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Ransom Everglades took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lourdes Academy, who comes in off a win.

Ransom Everglades will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Lourdes Academy extended their winning streak to three last Saturday. Lourdes Academy came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Saint Andrew's.

Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades didn't have quite enough to beat Seminole Ridge on Saturday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Ransom Everglades sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 17-15.

Lourdes Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Ransom Everglades, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
