Bradwell Institute has been away from home for three games now, but on Tuesday they'll finally make their return. They will host the South Effingham Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Bradwell Institute headed into their last match having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but First Preparatory Christian Academy let them put that streak behind them. Bradwell Institute was the clear victor by a 21-9 margin over First Preparatory Christian Academy on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, South Effingham entered their tilt with Ware County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 19-7 win. With that victory, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

South Effingham got a massive performance out of Justine Nevels, who scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Nevels has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Danni Lynn, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Lynn wasn't the only one working in the home runs department: South Effingham lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in October of 2023.

Bradwell Institute's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for South Effingham, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
