Baseball Game Preview: Mooresville Christian Eagles vs. Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx

The Mooresville Christian Eagles will face off against the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Mooresville Christian came up short against Irvington Preparatory Academy on Monday, falling 20-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mooresville Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Schlichting, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Purdue Broad Ripple had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-5 win. Considering the Lynx have won three matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Purdue Broad Ripple's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mooresville Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
