Basketball Recap: Mehlville Starts off Right with Win over Waterloo

Mehlville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the Waterloo Bulldogs 57-55. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 61-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Waterloo is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mehlville will be home for the holidays to greet St. Mary's South Side at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterloo, they will venture away from home to take on Mascoutah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
