Recap: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Tooele Buffaloes

The Hillcrest Huskies won the last time they faced the Tooele Buffaloes, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hillcrest walked away with a 54-47 victory over Tooele.

Hillcrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damani Wilkerson, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhett Robinson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Several Buffaloes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Crew Lewis, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ethan B rogers, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The victory got Hillcrest back to even at 8-8. As for Tooele, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Hillcrest will be playing in front of their home fans against Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Murray has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 728 points over their last 11 matches. As for Tooele, they will head out on the road to take on Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Stansbury is ranked 112th, while Tooele is ranked 113th).
