Soccer Game Preview: Klamath Union vs. Eagle Point

The Klamath Union Pelicans are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagle Point Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Klamath Union will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Hidden Valley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pelicans never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. Klamath Union haven't had any issues with Hidden Valley recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Eagle Point's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They and Henley finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Eagle Point's record moves to 3-2-2. As for Klamath Union, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Klamath Union came out on top in a nail-biter against Eagle Point in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pelicans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
