Basketball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Woodland Cougars 77-31. The Wildcats were probably out for revenge after losing 71-32 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Olive's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Woodland, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Olive didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-35 loss against Sperry on the 25th. Woodland has also already played their next matchup, a 72-62 defeat against Pawnee on the 25th.
