Volleyball Game Preview: Kent-Meridian Royals vs. Jefferson Raiders + How To Watch

Kent-Meridian is a perfect 7-0 against Jefferson since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Kent-Meridian beat Beamer 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Royals.

Kent-Meridian was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 15-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Jefferson posted their closest win since September 16, 2024 on Wednesday. They skirted past Auburn Mountainview 3-2. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Kent-Meridian back to even at 4-4. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Kent-Meridian was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
