Basketball Recap: Cornersville Takes a Loss

Cornersville lost against Moore County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cornersville Bulldogs took a hard 34-18 fall against the Moore County Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Raiders are ranked 40th).

Cornersville's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Moore County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Cornersville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moore County, they will take on Richland on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Richland sitting on four straight wins and Moore County on 13.
