Cedar Vale/Dexter has gone 8-2 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m.

Cedar Vale/Dexter easily dispatched Copan on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Cedar Vale/Dexter fell just short of Wesleyan Christian by a score of 39-36 on Thursday. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Despite their defeat, Cedar Vale/Dexter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Eislee Boatman, who made all 10 shots she took to post 12 points and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Zoe Davidson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Cedar Vale/Dexter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Central hadn't done well against Oxford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Central narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Oxford 26-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since December 5, 2023.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cedar Vale/Dexter fell to 2-1. As for Central, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Cedar Vale/Dexter beat Central 42-31 when the teams last played back in February. Will Cedar Vale/Dexter repeat their success, or does Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
