Softball Recap: Bear Creek Comes Up Short

Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Chavez Titans. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Bear Creek saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Maloy, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Bear Creek's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 15-3. As for Chavez, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Bear Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Tokay on the 1st. As for Chavez, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-7 defeat against Edison on the 1st.
