Baseball Game Preview: Ringgold Rams vs. Uniontown Red Raiders

For the second straight game, Ringgold will face off against Uniontown. The Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ringgold's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Uniontown. Considering the Rams' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Ringgold got a massive performance out of Xander Mahoney, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Mahoney a new career-high. Dylan Bartkus was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Ringgold hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Uniontown struck out eight times.

This is the second loss in a row for Uniontown and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Ringgold, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
