Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Statesville). They breezed by the North Iredell Raiders to the tune of 88-47 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Greyhounds who have now won three matches in a row.

Statesville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Manuel (MJ) Gladden, who went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points and five steals. Gladden is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Kevin Bryant was another key player, going 8 of 10 on his way to 16 points.

Statesville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for North Iredell, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Statesville will welcome St. Stephens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Stephens' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for North Iredell, they will venture away from home to take on East Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Lincoln will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something North Iredell surely won't give up without a fight.
