Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mountain View and Austin had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Mountain View Lobos fell 3-1 to the Austin Panthers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in February.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Austin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Mountain View will head out on the road to challenge Clint at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Irvin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Austin is facing Irvin at the right time seeing as Irvin is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
