Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Central Beats New Berlin Eisenhower for Their Fourth Straight Win

Brookfield Central had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Lions back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Brookfield Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11.

Norma Glisczinski paced Brookfield Central's offense, picking up six kills. Glisczinski got some help from Molly Daugherty and her nine assists. Carolyn Gauntt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brookfield Central's win bumped their record up to 15-17. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-8 record.

Coincidentally, Brookfield Central and New Berlin Eisenhower will both be playing Racine Case the next time they take the court. The Lancers will host the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
