Basketball Recap: Leonia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Palisades Park last Friday, Leonia came back down to earth. The Leonia Lions lost 64-43 to the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 40th).

Leonia's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Dwight-Englewood, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Leonia has already played their next matchup (against New Milford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dwight-Englewood has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Palisades Park.
