Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 61-51 to the Emerson Vo-Tech Eagles. The Frontiers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 61-50.

Despite the loss, Riverside still got an impressive performance from Jahiem Foster, who posted 26 points. Another player making a difference was Nelson Camacho, who scored 15 points.

Riverside's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-8. As for Emerson Vo-Tech, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-1.

Riverside has already played their next match, a 34-32 victory against City Honors on the 14th. Emerson Vo-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
