Bixby had already won four in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 56-7 win over the Charles Page Sandites. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sandites, too.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bixby's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Vincent Incremona with two. Tyler Wright got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bixby's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Bixby will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Choctaw at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Charles Page, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 45-17 defeat against Owasso on the 12th.
