Football Recap: Foss Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Foss had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it eight. They fell 20-12 to the Washington Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 21-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Washington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Washington to victory were Ano Galeai and Kyan Edwards. Galeai rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown, while Edwards gained 62 total yards and a touchdown. What's more, Edwards racked up 31 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foss will host Orting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Washington, they will welcome Clover Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Timberwolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
