Baseball Recap: Dryden Comes Up Short

The Dryden Cardinals came up short against the Brown City Green Devils on Monday, falling 9-2.

Dryden saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Furneaux, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Jayden Stankevich was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Dryden's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brown City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Dryden had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
