For the first time in his career, Tyler Tarpley scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 34 receiving yards and one TD as Sylacauga fell to Beauregard 34-30. We think that's the best game he's posted since August 29th, when he made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Looking ahead, Tarpley and Sylacauga will be playing at home against Central of Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time these two faced off, Tarpley and Co. were forced to settle for a 48-9 loss. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
