Softball Recap: Altamont Longhorns vs. South Sevier Rams

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Altamont can now relate to. They fell 8-4 to the South Sevier Rams on Friday. Altamont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Altamont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinley Duncan, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

On South Sevier's side, Kloe Donohue made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Donohue has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Donohue was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base.
