Basketball Recap: Cumberland Academy Takes a Loss

Cumberland Academy was the 37-35 winner over Overton when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 44-43 to the Mustangs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cumberland Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Overton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cumberland Academy will challenge West Rusk at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Overton, they will host Trinity School of Texas at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
