Basketball Recap: Kendrick Finds Home Court Redemption Against St. Maries

There's no place like home for Kendrick, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-50 win over the St. Maries Lumberjacks on Thursday. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lumberjacks, too.

Kendrick now has a winning record of 5-4. As for St. Maries, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kendrick Tigers challenge the Lapwai Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lapwai will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Kendrick surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Maries, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sandpoint at 7:00 p.m.
