Volleyball Recap: Portage Warriors vs. Sauk Prairie Eagles

Portage lost against Sauk Prairie on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Portage may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Addison Zuther paced Portage's offense, picking up six kills. Zuther got some help from Kate Stevenson and her eight assists. Zuther was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading Sauk Prairie to victory were Bentlee Conway and Leah Allen. Conway had nine digs, while Allen had seven digs and five assists. That's the most digs Conway has posted over her last six contests.
