Softball Recap: Marlington Has No Trouble Against Salem

Marlington never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Salem Quakers with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dukes, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Chelsea Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Makenna Metz was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Marlington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Marlington moved to 9-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12-1.
