Football Recap: Sioux Valley Wins Going Away Against Clark/Willow Lake

Sioux Valley won the last time they faced Clark/Willow Lake and things went their way on Friday too. The Cossacks strolled past the Cyclones with points to spare, taking the game 22-6. The Cossacks pushed the score to 22-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cyclones cut but never quite recovered from.

Wyatt Hardt threw for 51 yards and one touchdown. Mitchell Guthmiller was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards and one score.

The win got Sioux Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Clark/Willow Lake, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Sioux Valley has already played their next game, a 54-8 victory against Baltic on the 5th. Clark/Willow Lake has also already played their next matchup (against Sisseton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
