Basketball Game Preview: Deuel Cardinals vs. Arlington Cardinals

Deuel hasn't had much luck against Arlington recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Deuel Cardinals will head out to take on the Arlington Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Deuel is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 48-22 to Castlewood. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Arlington ended up a good deal behind DeSmet on Thursday and lost 66-47.

Arlington's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for Deuel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Deuel took a serious blow against Arlington in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 53-25. Can Deuel avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
