Mainland entered their match against Seabreeze on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mainland Buccaneers lost 13-5 to the Seabreeze Sandcrabs. The Buccaneers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Ryan Allen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Mainland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seabreeze, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
