The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Holy Name Green Wave at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Athens by a score of 4-0.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin got a great performance from Jack Montague as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. Montague has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Frankie Clark was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Aiden McCord was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Holy Name narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 4-2.

Russell Masetta looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ismael Sostre, Jr., who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's record now sits at 7-1. As for Holy Name, their record is now 5-6-1.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin couldn't quite get it done against Holy Name in their previous matchup back in May of 2017 as they fell 7-3. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
