Baseball Recap: Hand Takes a Loss

Hand blew Guilford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Guilford got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 4-2. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

Hand has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Guilford, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hand will face off against West Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Guilford, they will square off against East Haven at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
