Basketball Game Preview: Cromwell Panthers vs. East Hampton Bellringers

The Cromwell Panthers will take on the East Hampton Bellringers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cromwell took on Old Lyme on Thursday. Cromwell secured a 43-37 W over Old Lyme. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, East Hampton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 57-26 win over Portland. The Bellringers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 25 points or more this season.

The victory got East Hampton back to even at 5-5. As for Cromwell, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Cromwell didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against East Hampton when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 42-36 victory. Will Cromwell repeat their success, or does East Hampton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
