Soccer Recap: Romulus Takes a Loss

Romulus lost against Crestwood on September 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Chargers, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, Romulus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Crestwood are ranked 142nd).

Romulus' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Crestwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Romulus will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Crestwood, they will host Annapolis at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
