Baseball Recap: Monroe Central Takes a Loss

Monroe Central fell victim to Hiland and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Hawks. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Seminoles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Monroe Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 20 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Hiland, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Monroe Central nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
