Baseball Recap: Hardin Beats East Chambers for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Hardin won the last time they faced East Chambers and things went their way on Friday too. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Buccaneers. With that victory, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Hardin got a massive performance out of Jayden Phelps, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Phelps has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Trevor Jones, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hardin, bringing their record up to 12-6.
