Volleyball Game Preview: Parkston Trojans vs. Parker Pheasants

The Parkston Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Parker Pheasants on Thursday. Parkston will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Parkston sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Wagner.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Parkston who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-4.

Meanwhile, Parker lost 3-0 to Irene/Wakonda on Thursday. The Pheasants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Parkston's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Parker, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Parkston couldn't quite get it done against Parker in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
