Basketball Recap: Nelsonville-York Takes a Loss

Nelsonville-York lost against Federal Hocking back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes were beaten by the Federal Hocking Lancers 70-29. The game marked the Buckeyes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Nelsonville-York has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Federal Hocking, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nelsonville-York will venture away from home to square off against Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Federal Hocking, they are taking a road trip to take on Southeastern at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
