Softball Recap: Logan Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Logan's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the Roane County Yellowjackets 4-3.

Logan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Roane County, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.

Logan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 22nd. As for Roane County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tellico Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
