The Checotah Wildcats will head out to square off against the Stigler Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Checotah is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Checotah beat Muldrow 21-17.

Cole Rolland had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 115 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 115 yards and one touchdown. Those 115 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Checotah's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Woodrow Spears, Elijah Muhammad, and Bryce Marshall, who each picked up one sack apiece. Spears was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Stigler played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-7 to Idabel. The Panthers gained 92 more yards on the day, but it was the Warriors that made the best use of them.
Checotah will have to contain Graham Easttom as he made an impact in Stigler's last game. He rushed for 169 yards and one TD, and also threw for 100 yards on 11 of 24 attempts.
This is the second loss in a row for Stigler and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Checotah, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Checotah has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 355.8 total yards per game. It's a different story for Stigler, though, as they've been averaging only 232.6 total yards. Will Checotah be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Panthers flip the script?
Everything went Checotah's way against Stigler in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Checotah made off with a 31-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
